WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!
UPDATE: July 5, 2025: I recently returned from a month in Spain and Italy, where I did 14 oil paintings. I am gradually stretching and ‘tweaking’ them, and they will appear on the website (under the ‘Spain’ and “italy” categories) in the next several weeks. I will probbaby also be going out on a few summer evenings to paint local motifs. A few paintings that were sold to buyers who have since down-sized have come back into my hands, and are ‘available’ again. One of them is the 60 x 36” canvas below, “Flags on South Broad Street.” It is one of my classic large Philadelphia cityscape depictions. Contact me if you are interested in purchasing it.
Latest news: APRIL 2025: I just completed this 32 x 50” oil on canvas, “Eagles Victory Parade, Philadelphia, 2025” depicting the Philadelphia Eagles championship victory parade at the glorious ‘finale’ on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Valentine’s Day! The original oil painting is available, and it can also be ordered as a print from the store page of this website. The ‘offset litograph’ is $60.00 + $10.00 shipping, and it is also available as a giclee canvas print in three sizes.
Latest news (updated 10-25-2024): I have been taking advantage of the splendid fall weather and painting a lot outside, working on views of PARC and MERCATO restaurants, as well as paintings by the Schuylkill River, and of the big ocean liner docked on the Delaware River. I also have a display of about 14 of my paintings at BELLINI restaurant near 16th and Locust Street. One of my large ‘capriccios’ is on display on the big wall there, and about 14 of my Italian cityscapes and landscapes that compliment the Italian cuisine of the restaurant.
Latest news (July-August 2024): I will be having a “Meet the Artist” reception at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia On Wednesday, September 18th from 2-4 p.m. The Athenaeum is an historical museum located at 219 s. 6th Street (just below Walnut Street on the east side of Washington Square Park). I have a display of five paintings (four of them very large!) on the mezzanine and lower levels of the museum. The first floor gallery, library, and other public areas of the museum will also be open. Below is a photo of one of my paintings in the museum. It is not necessary to RSVP, and the exhibit is also accessible during normal museum hours. The link to the Athenaeum’s website is: https: https://philaathenaeum.org/
